Speaking

I used to deeply dislike public speaking and was far more comfortable behind the camera and working behind the scenes. Being unseen felt safer. But over the past ten years, God has completely transformed that reluctance into a calling, and now I can’t imagine my life without preaching Jesus to anyone who will listen. What once felt like fear has become a deep joy and a holy responsibility. I’ve had the privilege of preaching in youth ministries, churches, conferences, camps, and chapels, watching God meet people in powerful ways. At the heart of every message I share is a burden the Lord has placed on me: that people would understand their identity and worth are rooted in who God says they are, not in what they do or what they accomplish.

It was a true blessing to have Pastor Samuel Gonzalez minister to our congregation in October 2024. As a former youth Pastor, Sam carries a deep passion for the Gospel and a genuine love for people that is evident in both his preaching and personal interactions. He communicated God’s Word with clarity, humility, and conviction, helping our church gain a broader vision for God’s work beyond our local context.
Pastor Sam not only inspired us through his message but also encouraged our congregation to think more intentionally about missions, obedience, and faithfulness to God’s calling. His presence was refreshing, faith-building, and impactful, and we are grateful for the way God used him among us.

I feel like Chapel is helping me to understand God more and deeper, I feel like it is giving me hope and power. When there is some situation in my life I am facing, I learned, that I can give it on God and he will handle it for me. Chapel gave me a lot this year even a church I now visit, it was one of the best experience in my life. It was a special year, with special people I would say, which gave me a lot to my spiritual and normal life

Sam was a big part of a year full of transitions for me. And I know he made a impact on our team in Springfield. He helped us grow closer to God, each other, and feel more comfortable talking about God in our lives and locker room. Chapels became a important part of the weekly routine and keep us focused on what mattered most.

Chapel with Sam played a big part in helping me get through the busy school and hockey season. It was something that I looked forward to every week and helped give me a moment of peace and helped me reset each week. Having a new theme and new points of emphasis every week kept me focused, motivated, and connected to my faith. Chapel gave me strength to push through the tough times and I am grateful for that.
